Bang Bang

So yesterday wasn't the best of days. I scratched someone's car while parking. The guy was a local Arab and didn't yell at me thankfully. I must have apologised 1000 times even before he could open his mouth. The police had to be called and I was given the bad red slip not before the cops and the guy laughed their heart out at my stupidity and the state of my car. My car was much more badly hurt as compared to his car. I spent the evening feeling sick and feverish. I'm still feeling like that and I wish I'd feel better already.

Nancy Sinatra was just singing this song that I like very much and somehow reminds me of the dream I had today. I cannot share the dream today it should suffice to say that it was a happy dream which left me feeling blue. I'm still feverish and my head feels heavy and I should eat something but I don't feel like it. Such days should go by very quickly. Anyways here's Nancy Sinatra with 'Bang Bang'

Bang Bang

I was five and he was six
We rode on horses made of sticks
He wore black and I wore white
He would always win the fight

Bang bang, he shot me down
Bang bang, I hit the ground
Bang bang, that awful sound
Bang bang, my baby shot me down.

Seasons came and changed the time
When I grew up, I called him mine
He would always laugh and say
"Remember when we used to play?"

Bang bang, I shot you down
Bang bang, you hit the ground
Bang bang, that awful sound
Bang bang, I used to shoot you down.

Music played and people sang
Just for me the church bells rang.

Now he's gone, I don't know why
And 'till this day, sometimes I cry
He didn't even say goodbye
He didn't take the time to lie.

Bang bang, he shot me down
Bang bang, I hit the ground
Bang bang, that awful sound
Bang bang, my baby shot me down
